The 98 air-conditioned villas offer welcoming interiors, with light woods and white linens combining to create an airy and authentic Maldivian feel. Ocean Front Villas are the closest to the water’s edge, while Beach Villas and Sunset Beach Villas are just a few steps from the sand. Each features a large garden bathroom with shower, private terrace, four poster bed, mini bar, tea/coffee making facilities and complimentary WiFi. Deluxe Villas provide extra privacy, set back from the beach amongst the natural vegetation, and additionally feature a freshwater plunge pool and sunken bath in the open-air bathroom. Lagoon Villas are over-water and also have plunge pools, and views towards the horizon can be enjoyed from a relaxing Jacuzzi bath. Sunset Lagoon Villas not only occupy a prime location, but also feature a separate living room, larger private terrace, glass bottom pool and the option to take spa treatments in your own private retreat.

Restaurants And Bars

Coco Palm’s two welcoming restaurants offer international, Asian and Maldivian delights. Cowrie serves a range of flavours from live cooking stations under a large thatched roof and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. For a more intimate atmosphere, Cornus is the resort’s speciality feet-in-the-sand venue, tucked away in the gardens and surrounded by verdant palms, serving Asian delicacies with a Maldivian influence, including fresh seafood. Two bars include Conch, a chic spot for coffee or a cocktail, and the Beach Bar on the west of the island, enjoying the best sunset views.

Facilities

Activities revolve around the water, with dolphin watching, snorkelling with manta rays, windsurfing, catamarans and kayaks all available. You can also visit the resort’s Marine Turtle Rescue Centre to learn about the great conservation work being done there and, if you’re very lucky, you could join the team on a boat trip to release a turtle back into the wild. If you want a true castaway experience, the resort’s private desert island, just 15 minutes away, is perfect for a romantic picnic or even an overnight stay. Back at the resort, the pace of life is also pretty relaxed, so why not take advantage of Coco Spa, featuring a range of Ayurvedic-inspired products and treatments.
