I have been a part of the travel industry since 2016 and have been enjoying every minute – why didn’t I join earlier? I work on both the marketing and sales so you may see me changing our shop window display one day and then the next day with a customer helping them to create a dream getaway they will never forget.

My favourite place is India. It had always been on top of my bucket list and I was so happy that I got to go on a tour with Cosmos around the Golden Triangle before heading to Ranthambore to spot the Tigers – which we did on all 3 of our safaris. I couldn’t believe how lucky we were as we also got to see a sloth bear, which is super rare as they are nocturnal. Amber Fort in Jaipur was also a highlight for me. The trip definitely lived up to my expectations and I just loved the smells, the food, the colours and everything else of India.

My next planned adventure is to Japan. I am going to be doing this in a small-group escorted tour with Intrepid as I can get right into the heart of the culture of this fascinating country. I am already counting down the days!

My bucket list definitely gets longer each week – I think that is the problem with working in travel! At the top is to drive around South Africa visiting Cape Town, the wine regions and then safari to see the big 5 before ending the holiday with a week relaxing in Mauritius.

My top travel tip is to always have comfy shoes with you. Wherever you are, there is always some exploring to do whether it is to find the best restaurant or the quiet part of a beach to discovering the wonders of ancient temples or the breath-taking views from high up.
